How to kill a plant.

This project was done as part of my studies at Billy Blue. Design and concept by Julianna Sinisalmi & Ingvild Syvertsen.

The brief was to create humorous guide to plants for people that… Well aren’t green thumbs exactly. So, rather than creating a Wikipedia site packed with “facts”, the goal was to create something light and fun. Because yes, everything is happening and we’ve got more issues than pills to swallow.

So this is a love book to millennials, wrapped in millennial pink and delivered with snarky come backs. The book goes through different life stages, reflected on both the parent and the plant, playing with stereotypes of the generation that can’t seem to afford a house or satisfy boomers with their reproduction skills.
