We have an agenda to achieve by 2030. And in order to achieve goals, people need to be aware and feel motivated.
Planit for sustainable future
Client: Torrens University. This project was done as part of my studies at Billy Blue. Design and strategy: Anna Snellman, Ingvild Syvertsen, Julianna Sinisalmi. Branding: Julianna Sinisalmi.
The brief was to design a tool, for both the teacher and the students, to help inspire and teach university students about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The research outlines that for education to be effective, it needs to be personalised, have emotional connection, purpose and a clear goal. Emotional connection and having purpose triggers us and we are more likely to act when things get personal. Our solution is based on this and will focus on making the whole learning experience enjoyable and convenient.
Planit is a learning platform that makes learning and teaching personal, inspiring and meaningful. It aims for students to remember more, see the value of it and hopefully use that knowledge after their studies. Because awareness brings action. It gives students a clear starting point and Planit aims to inspire students to make a difference. The platform comes as an app as well as a website suited for bigger screens. Main logos and logo for app shown.
The platform will change based on individual mapping, depending on what works the best for them. To personalise learning, it will map values, strenghts, methods of learning and who the student is in a team. To do this, we will use methodology of psychographics. This is the study of personality, values, opinions, attitudes, interests and lifestyle. It will not focus on so much on who, but more why, in order to get more detailed and personal result than the classic demographic. Mapping will be done through a quiz.
